市民マラソン大会

週に３～４回は、家の周りをジョギングしている。走っている最中というよりは走った後、お風呂入って、ビールを飲みながら食事をするのが気持ちいいから。あとは、体型キープの意味もある。今日もいつものように走っていたら、突然、「おいっ」って声を掛けられた。自分の世界に入っていたのでびくっとした。見るとおじいさんがこちらを見て何か言いたそう顔をしている。「走るのはいいことだよ。青梅マラソンには出るのかい？」と突然言われて困惑。「いいえ。体力的に無理です。」と答えた。もう後はおじいちゃんの独壇場。「わしも昔は走っていて、野球をやってたんだ。青梅マラソンの開会式には長嶋茂雄も参加していたんだよ。あの松井秀樹も小学生の頃は体型がデブだったが、走るようになってから活躍できるようになったんだ。タイムを縮めるために青梅マラソンに参加したほうがいいよ」と、止まらない。その後、なぜか青梅マラソンの事が頭から離れなくなってしまい、出場しようかと調べてみたら、２月に終わっていた。東京で市民マラソン大会と検索するとビックリ。毎月たくさん開催されているんだなと。そこで、今日から丁度２か月後に開催され八王子からもわりと近いこりゃ多摩ランという大会（２０ｋｍ）の部に出場することにしてみた。さあ、今から準備だ！

I go jogging around my house three or four times per week as my hobby. I feel comfortable after I go jogging rather than while jogging. I like to drink beer with dish after taking a bath. Another reason is to keep in shape. Today, I went jogging as usual. But I heard voice suddenly like "oh". I was very surprized because I was on my own world while jogging. I found old man who looked like he wanna say something. He said " Jogging is good for healthe. have you participate in Ome Marathon race? " I replied to him" No, I could't physically." After that, it was whole his exclusive place. He continued to talk like " I used to go jogging and play baseball.  I remember that Mr. Nagashima participated in the opening ceremony of Ome marathon race. Hideki Matsui used to be chabby body, after starting jogging, he could become good baseball player. You should have better enter into ome marathon race so as to take a record time. After talking with him, Ome marathon race sticks to my brain. I could not get it out of my head. I determined to participate the race. But this year race was done in Feb. So, I searched another race who amatuer person can enter. I was surprised. It turned out that there were a lot of event held in each month. Among them, I applied a race which will be held in just 2 month later and city around my house. I will prepare from now on.
